After watching a little feature on Techshop on MAKE Television.... kinda makes me wish such a place actually exists in Singapore @_@. A really great idea for a clubby thing. Pay a monthly membership and have free use of all the equiptment and machines in the place. From little hand drills and jigsaws to uber expensive 3D printers.. apparently founded by one of the staff of the Mythbusters show. |

Woke up this morning and my head was like whao. Head has been aching on and off for most of the past week but I kinda pushed it aside since I was all flu like ever since the day or two after Christmas. With the ol' noggin hurting mre than usual, I decided to go see the doctor again. Now I have the common cold? @_o. Should not have went shopping with my parents XD. I ended up deciding to get home earlier to see the doc. With the sale of 1up to UGO seems that much sads are coming. And it is official, EGM is now no more. Rest in peace EGM ;o; You were always my most favourite gaming magazine to read since I was in primary school. Makes me wish I hadn't thrown all the old issues during my room clearing sessions. That said, 1up's podcasts and the 1up show are pretty much dead now. There goes like 70% of all the podcasts I listen to everyday while going to work. Curse you UGO. My thoughts on Dissidia. Kinda like a cross between Erghiez, Smash Brothers, one of those naruto games, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. With uneccessary complexity tacked on to make people think that "oh shit, this game is complex and worth every cent." Graphics are fancy and the actual game isn't really that bad but I'd rather they remove the silly board thing and just have a regular battle kinda game. |
